Top 5 Casual Games on Android in Mexico Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top casual games on the Android platform in Mexico. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five games: Subway Surfers, Pou, Sonic Forces: PvP Battle Race, Among Us, and Plants vs. Zombies™.

Subway Surfers from SYBO Games experienced notable activity throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $4.7K in the week of May 23, while downloads reached a high of nearly 305K in mid-April. The game maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users rising from around 7.6M at the start of the quarter to nearly 19.3M by the end of June.

Pou, developed by Zakeh, showed a steady performance with weekly revenue fluctuating around $300 to $380. Downloads saw a decline from around 170K in late March to about 115K by the end of June. Active users also decreased from about 9.9M to 7.7M over the same period.

Sonic Forces: PvP Battle Race by SEGA displayed significant growth in revenue, peaking at roughly $2.8K in early May. Downloads increased from around 46K in late March to a high of nearly 190K in late April. Downloads remained steady, with a slight peak at around 118K in late April. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at approximately 721K and ending at around 628K.
